ABOUT ME

My name is Igor Vtorov. My journey into art didn’t begin in quiet studios - it was forged on the uncompromising, raw streets, through the weight of critical life-or-death situations, and the intense, harsh realities that forced me to navigate complex, high-stakes challenges.
These formative years, combined with the sterile operating rooms of emergency surgery and the profound solemnity of working within a funeral home, taught me to look closely at human nature. Standing at the threshold where life ends and eternity begins, I learned to value absolute, unyielding precision, and maintain ironclad, ritualistic sterility.
My medical background gives me a flawless understanding of human anatomy, while 15 years of international experience have allowed me to refine my skills in photo-realism, living portraits, and expert cover-ups.Having worked in top studios across the USA and Europe - from the high-speed rhythm of New York City to elite spots in Switzerland and Jerusalem - I have now consciously chosen Spain, a country I now fully consider my home. Here, I dedicate myself to pure art - creating tattoos for those who value profound meaning, and using each session as an opportunity to share my life experience and energy with my clients.

THE ROOTS: GRAFFITI, RAP & GRANDMA’S KITCHEN

I was born and raised in Odessa - a vibrant, gritty, and beautiful city on the Black Sea, famously known as the Pearl of the Sea. The '90s were a rough, lawless time in Eastern Europe, and from early childhood, my life became deeply intertwined with the criminal world and the survival rules of the streets. Because my parents worked tirelessly to make ends meet, I never went to kindergarten. Instead, I spent the vast majority of my time outside, raised by the streets and looked after by my grandparents. My grandfather, a truly talented artist, gave me my first colored pencils and taught me how to draw, while my grandmother spent endless hours with me in the kitchen. She taught me how to cook, and to this day, preparing food remains my deepest sanctuary, my passion, and my escape. But growing up without the structure of kindergarten, completely immersed in the raw independence of the streets, forged the core of who I am: from my earliest days, absolute freedom became my ultimate value, making rigid rules, tight restrictions, and systemic boundaries completely unacceptable to my nature. By the age of 14, this hunger for freedom claimed my focus: I discovered hip-hop culture and started doing graffiti. It began as a teenage obsession, but quickly evolved into an alter ego that followed me deep into my adult life. For years, writing lyrics, recording rap music, and making beats in underground studios became my main voice, running parallel to the constant adrenaline and dark reality of my environment.

ANATOMY, SURGERY & SURVIVAL

At 16, I entered medical college, diving deep into the study of human anatomy. But life hit me brutally hard very soon. At 17, I lost my mother to cancer, and shortly after, my father passed away as well. Left completely alone with the harsh reality of survival and the need to pay for my education, I navigated the dark edges of the city. I took night shifts as a paramedic in emergency surgery while spending my days working at a funeral home. This period was a masterclass in survival. Working in emergency surgery under extreme pressure taught me two critical, unbreakable things: a flawless, structural understanding of human anatomy and an uncompromising, absolute respect for cleanliness, sanitization, and sterile environments.

THE PRISON STRATEGY & THE POINT OF NO RETURN

Looking for a way out, I transitioned into the restaurant industry, utilizing what my grandmother taught me to build a successful 5-year career as a chef specializing in Asian cuisine. Yet, my true life remained split between two extremes: making hip-hop music and running a high-stakes, risky criminal business in the illegal "plants" trade. In 2014, the system caught up with me and turned my world upside down. Corrupted police targeted me, demanding a massive bribe and threatening me with severe, devastating consequences if I didn't pay. I refused. As a result, I was captured, placed under strict house arrest, and faced a potential 12-year prison sentence.Staring into the dark unknown, with my music equipment silenced and my wife pregnant with our daughter, I had to calculate my survival inside a penitentiary. I knew how the system worked. I realized that if I was going to prison for a decade, I needed a skill that would protect me. In the criminal world, the position of a skilled tattoo artist opens many doors and gives you a real opportunity to build useful contacts and secure friendships with the right, influential people.I thought: "I know anatomy from college, I know the rhythm of the streets from my rap years, and I know how to paint from graffiti. I will become a tattoo artist." It was a cold, calculated strategy for survival. This was the exact moment music stepped aside to let ink save my life. I bought the cheapest machine with my last savings, secured a lightning-fast 2-week apprenticeship, and did my first real tattoo. A month later, my daughter was born. My career and my fatherhood started at the exact same second, rising directly from the ashes of a criminal trial.

INTERNATIONAL RHYTHM, WAR & GERMAN TRANSIT

Against all odds, I won my freedom in court, received my passport back, and spent the next several years working 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, perfecting my realism. This relentless pace left absolutely no room for anything else. Out of pure necessity, I had to stop making music and step away from rap. Every single second of my life was consumed by two things: honing my tattooing skills to an absolute elite level and dedicating myself entirely to my family, helping my wife care for our newborn daughter. My reputation grew, allowing me to work as an elite guest artist across Europe and at top-tier studios in Jerusalem and Switzerland. But stability didn't last. In 2022, after barely surviving a severe personal health crisis, my family woke up to explosions at 4 a.m. The war had begun. To save my daughter, who was born with a rare genomic disease - a condition we have been fiercely fighting and managing every single day of her life - we fled the country under chaotic conditions and machine-gun fire, leaving everything behind. Her urgent need for specialized medical care drove us forward. We spent two tough years in Germany, fighting to adapt and secure her treatments, before making a massive, final leap across the ocean to the absolute capital of global competition - New York City.

FROM NEW YORK TO SPAIN: NEW CHAPTER

I spent 2.5 years conquering the non-stop, cutthroat, high-stress rhythm of New York. I proved my absolute elite status on the fiercest stage in the world. But the endless survival race, the relentless stress, and the frantic pace of the American metropolis made me realize what truly matters. The definitive turning point came when we found out my wife was pregnant with our second child. Right then, we made a radical, uncompromising choice: we walked away from the path to US citizenship. We refused to raise our next child in an environment overrun by crime, drugs, and chaos. We wanted a superior quality of life, a healthy climate, and a safe, peaceful environment where our children could heal, breathe, and grow. That is why I consciously chose Spain, and specifically Torrevieja. The moment I arrived here, my heart recognized it instantly - this blooming, beautiful coast looks and feels exactly like my native Odessa, the city where I was born. It rests on the very edge of the sea, blessed with a magnificent climate, filled with vibrant energy, smiling people, and crowds of tourists. It felt like coming home. Right here, I am starting fresh once again, but this time as a fully formed master. I am launching my business, building a pristine, hyper-professional, sterile space around me, and looking for exclusive clients who value elite quality. My life story plays out like a heavy Netflix crime drama, but it is exactly what gave me the power to create art that holds real, unbreakable energy.

I’m ready to hear your story and ink it permanently into reality.WELCOME
